Ten days in, and I can honestly say, I have never been more excited for the future of Optimate.
With the transition of myself into the CEO role, and succeeding Steve Miller, we have completed the changes as far as the executive leadership of Optimate goes. It is no doubt a special occasion for all involved, for the first time since the company’s inception, all key leadership roles are now filled by new generation ‘Optimates’.
Naomi Robinson, heading the Eastern regions, and myself are well aware we are filling big shoes of the previous leadership, that inspired the company over many years of success. I bring with me their full support and encouragement.
As our business grows in scale and complexity, we are increasing transparency throughout our processes. By driving greater accountability for ourselves, we will lead with impact and tackle head-on the areas where we can improve.
First and foremost this will become visible in our invigorated focus on flawless execution. We will exceed our benchmarks.
The core values of accountability and transparency are reflected in our relations with you, our customers. Realising outstanding and lasting value together remains our driving passion, and I’m using those words with intent. The combination of experience, innovation and motivation in our people is something I’m very proud of, and frankly, a bit protective; we have an exceptional team, which enables us to provide our customers with the Optimate Edge.
And we’re here for the long run. We build lasting strategic relationships with our customers. We challenge, suggest, innovate but above all work together with our customers, as one team with a single objective.
Speaking on behalf of our board and staff, I want to say a huge thank you to all our clients and relations. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you, and lean with excitement into the next chapter ahead.
