We are looking for an experienced SCADA Engineer based in Perth to lead Ignition project delivery and help shape our footprint in the Western Australian power generation sector.
This isn’t just a “sit behind the desk” role. You will be the face of our technical excellence in Perth, managing sophisticated projects while fostering key industry relationships.
The Role
You will be a pivotal link in our global delivery model, ensuring our Western Australian clients receive world-class automation solutions. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Project Leadership: Taking ownership of the full project lifecycle, from design and configuration to site commissioning.
- Global Collaboration: Working with our partners engineering teams to ensure 24/7 momentum on critical deliverables.
- Business Development: Acting as a technical advisor to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Perth market.
- System Architecture: Developing high-performance SCADA interfaces using the Ignition platform to extend capability beyond just SCADA.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you need a unique blend of technical “know-how” and professional “can-do.”
- Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of the Renewables Power Industry is preferred along with general industrial/mining experience.
- Ignition Mastery: You are either a certified Ignition pro or a highly skilled SCADA engineer ready to undergo intensive upskilling to become an expert in the Inductive Automation ecosystem.
- Communication: The ability to translate complex technical requirements into business value for clients and strong collaborative skills with our partners and offshore teams.
- Location: You must be currently based in Perth with the ability to visit local sites and attend client meetings as required.
